Well, the jury is still out on that one. However, if you’re sensing the slight breeze of smugness, a hint of gloat, and a smattering of self horn tootelage, you may be – perceptive.
Math exam today full of equations of inequalities, roots, radicals, and functions of radicals, quadratic equations, complex (imaginary) numbers and the pythagorean theorem. I’ve been maintaining an “A” all semester but always seem to miss that 100% score by a point or two. The difficulty factor is high mostly due to the amount of material it covers. Finally…I pulled off a 100% score. Yes, that slapping sound was me spanking that test with much delight.
I may be just a poor financial aid dependant undergrad but today was a nice personal payoff.
Oh look…it’s Halloween. yay. yipee. joy. Sense sarcasm and disenchantment? With good reason. But with another year or two the spirit of halloween may be rekindled. Can’t disappoint the kids though. Oldest has a killer alien costume mom created. Youngest is a bat, with wings and fangs. He does sleep upside down. The witch and I will haul them out on our broomstick for the usual cavity fest tomorrow. Friends have invited us to stop by…mellow is good. Speaking of disappoint …it’s almost time for the tooth fairy to pop by the kids room.
