A little knowledge is dangerous

It’s no secret that I’ll be casting my vote for Obama this November.  Unfortunately, unless there’s a significant “swing” in the popular vote, Idaho’s “Electors” all come from the Republican party as a result of the current Administration.  Frustrating for all you Obama supporters out there…and this often leads to people not willing to stand [...]

Technology Employment in Boise

Interesting bit from a blog I stumbled over, “TechBoise”.

“Here’s my news tip for Boise (especially any elected or wannabe/soon to be elected officials):
LaserJet’s and DRAM are not going to carry the valley like they once did.
Can we expect to see more layoffs in Boise? It’s too hard to realistically predict any specific events tied to [...]

23 Days…

…Until I’m back in class.  I feel refreshed and motivated and I have a new major.  (Not that much different than the old one really.)
My postmortem from last semester:

6 classes & a lab is too much with 2 kids, a wife, a part time job during nights, and a performing band.
I HATE ONLINE classes.  I need real world [...]

Empathy? and idiots at gas stations

A friend of mine named her myspace blog “Blogs are for bitching” – I’m using that idea today.  While feeding my kids and tinkering around the house this morning, a certain morning talk show on NBC was on.  I won’t mention any names but the co-host rhymes with Kelly Ripa.  Anyway, the topic of gas [...]
